About Jill:

You’ve probably seen the recent stories about how renowned photography sensation Vivian Maier’s work is being exhibited worldwide and going viral, although during her lifetime, her photographs were unknown and unpublished.

Well there is a Vivian Maier of the singer/songwriter world. Someone whose life’s work of ear burstingly strong, original songs have gone unheard. Her name is Jill Savre (pronounced “SAVE-ree”).

OK, to be fair, photography vs. music isn’t the only difference between Vivian and Jill – another is that Jill is still very much alive! She has experienced a long and maddening string of health setbacks over the years, but she is now back, delivering her strongest performances in the studio, and the world is finally about to hear what it’s been missing.

About The Album:

These songs are the tip of the song iceberg from Jill’s ever expanding catalogue. Some are older recordings, some newer, the majority of them recorded right here in the neighborhood. We produced all but 2 of them (the other 2 were produced by local Nashvillian Stacy Hogan).

Jill should have her own website up and running by the time of the public album release on iTunes, etc., but for now during the polling we just have this private* page here.

Got comments? We’d love to hear ’em! Please email us at info@jillsavre.com.

* We’d like to keep this link “private” for this neighborhood poll, for one thing because most of the songs aren’t mastered yet. Still, we do appreciate the sharing of the link with anyone who might be interested in getting involved with Jill’s music in some way.
